• SSL

We now have our own SSL Certificate - which works throughout the albinoloverats.net domain. All links to non https:// addresses are automatically redirected for your convenience :)

  • IP Blocker Update

[s]Updated the IP blocker script - it now has only one loop for checking for invalid logins - next, I guess, is tweaking the iptables function so that it’s also inline with everything else.

  • IP Blocker

[s]I’ve now uploaded the script I use (in conjunction with FireHOL) which helps to stop script kiddies from continually attempting to login to my machine as root, and what have you.

  • Absent

Yeah, I know not a lot has happened here in the last few months, but uni work is really pushing down right now :( ah well, only 2 more months or so to go!! Once that’s over, encrypt and remove will both quickly receive much attention again, as well as one or two other projects. One being the continuation of my final year personal project, which is very much security orientated. The second is a partnership between a (large) group of uni friends to put together a post-apocalyptic zombie MMORPG! url=http://rinseworld.com[/url]

  • encrypt 0.5-1 "modules a plenty"

encrypt now has plugin support. All that’s needed now are some plugins for different algorithms. As such, this release is more aimed at developers who wish to write modules for encrypt to use.

  • encrypt 0.4-9

With changes to almost every malloc call to ensure memory access is clean and efficient. This applies to all three releases, with both the GTK interfaces being straightened out; not only aesthetically but also structurally with regards to the underlying code.

  • Lack of Activity

Well, it’s been awhile since we’ve made any public advancements here, but whilst we can’t say exactly what we’re working on, we can say it’ll blow your mind!

  • Updated Layout

We’ve changed our design and layout…

  • encrypt 0.3-1

Normally the amount of effort we put in the this release wouldn’t have required a change in the major version number, however we can justify it by saying that the glue between the front and back ends has been totally rewritten!

  • remove 0.2-1

Not only has encrypt gone “pro”, but so have we! We’ve improved the way that remove does the removing so the process is a lot quicker.
